One Direction's hit tune What Makes You Beautiful is to feature on smash US TV series Glee.
Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester, is going to croon the song as the boyband takes another step towards world domination.
The lads are expected to be over the moon about the honour — which comes as they celebrate their album Up All Night debuting at No1 in the US charts last week.
Actor Matt says he will be watching the group performing the single online so that he knows it inside out before doing his own version. But he admitted he has only recently got to know about the former X Factor band — which has legions of screaming teen fans.
He said: "I've just heard of them, they're really taking over the States. We are covering one of their songs on Glee — What Makes You Beautiful. I need to YouTube it to practise."
And he predicted that the song's high-profile appearance on the all-singing all-dancing soap, seen here on Channel 4, is likely to make the band even BIGGER.
Matthew — who was a Broadway star before getting the telly gig — joked: "They've made it now though, they're on Glee! This will probably help their record sales too."
The song was the group's debut single and hit No1 in the UK last year — but only No19 in the US.
